Our office decided to host a backyard barbecue to boost team spirit, so everyone was assigned something to bring. Jim proudly volunteered to handle the grill, claiming he was a 'BBQ master' after watching a few cooking shows. Karen was in charge of the salad. Things got strange when Jim started sprinkling what he said was his 'secret spice mix' on the burgers, assuring us it would attract only hungry customers. As the guests started arriving, they noticed more flies buzzing around the grill than usual. Someone pointed out that Jim might have accidentally mixed up the 'secret spice' with his kid’s sugar-based fly-attractant trap. Before long, coworkers were chasing flies with napkins while Jim frantically tried flipping burgers under a swarm of confused insects. Eventually, our boss stepped in and announced a new office rule: "From now on, grilling and pest control must be assigned to separate departments."
