During our weekly remote team meeting, our manager announced an upcoming office camping trip to boost camaraderie. Everyone got excited, especially Jim, who immediately started listing gear on the chat: tents, flashlights, marshmallows. Midway through, the video froze and a few people dropped off the call. Someone joked that our Wi-Fi probably couldn’t handle the 'outdoor survival mode.' Then our IT guy chimed in, saying the camping trip should include a session on how to survive without Wi-Fi — because even our office routers would be lost in the woods.
Turns out, the last thing we’d bring on a real camping trip was the office Wi-Fi password.
